Happy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone!    I can't believe it's almost the end of May.  I haven't been up to much.
I do have a few pictures to share.  It's been almost 20 days since I've written anything :(

Work from home is going well.  I am enjoying it and it looks like we will be able to continue to do so for a while.

The kiddos finished up school!  Woo hoo!  It was tough.  They both ended up with good grades.  Peyton earned an award for being the best Virtual Learner on his team.  Alli received an award for Achievement Honor Roll.  We turned in the MacBooks and I really hope school isn't at home in the fall.
Peyton making a healthy dessert for his FACS class.

I've done a little outdoor skating.  I signed up for a "Skate the Bay" skating challenge.  I've done about 14 miles.  My goal is 44!  I'm doing the Half Bay, not the full marathon!  If I make it the 44, I will up the goal.
Speaking of Roller Derby, my job on the board is to be over the Practice Committee and Bout Production.  Trying to figure out when and how to restart practices is a handful.  We are trying to come up with a solid and safe plan for everyone.

On Mother's Day, we did a dinner at my mom's house.  We got to meet her new kitten, Pebbles.
All three kiddos!  I love their facial expressions.
I have a lot of pictures of my animal coworkers!

I want to get a rug for under my kitchen table.  My daughter doesn't think I should.  What do you think?  I feel like it would look nice.

Alli is still working!  She's making quite a bit since everyone wants ice cream right now.  She's not complaining.

Peyton finally had his ortho appt.  It was two months overdue.  I wasn't allowed to go in.  I had to wait in the car.  They said his teeth look good.  He was too scared to schedule his own appointment, so I'll need to call them later to set up his next one.

My grandpa had his birthday!  We visited him this past Sunday.  We were outside, social distancing and wearing masks.    He wanted to visit with Tanner before he deployed.

Afterwards, we went to my mom's house for Tanner's deployment party.  It was just immediate family.  We had a taco bar and some brownies.  Tanner leaves on June 3rd.  He is going to be spending his 21st birthday deployed.  I am going to be sending him a huge box of stuff.  I am hoping other's will send cards for him.  I might be planning a glitter bomb of some sorts. :)

That's about all I have.  I'm not very exciting at the moment.  I did make a list for the kids to deep clean the front room tomorrow.  I did deep clean my dining room today.  The floor looks so good right now.  This was when I pulled out the shelving to clean the baseboards.  The cats were enjoying the sliver of sunshine.
I've been going for walks a lot.  This little squirrel at one of the walking parks let me get right next to him.  Such a cute little guy.

I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of your day!  I'll be back more often.  Now to catch up on blog reading.

Happy Monday! and some May Goals!

Happy Monday all!  I don't think I've ever typed a post this last in the evening,  but hey, it's not hurting anything!
I'm finally working from home!  I got my email after lunch last Monday and was home within an hour!  I had to update my printers and finish some in office things before I left.  It only took around an hour to get everything set up on my laptop and it's been smooth sailing from there!
My coworker made the signs.
My dining room is my new office.  I do put all my work things away promptly at 4:45 pm though.

Monday was also the pick up day for the Community Produce Box.  For $20, you get a ton of fruits and veggies.

On Tuesday, I let Alli drive us around for a little bit.  We stopped to get some gas and she pumped it for me.

On Wednesday, I had to run to the Post Office.  I had tried to use their Kiosk to mail something, but since it was going to an APO address, I had to see a person and fill out a customs form.  It was for a book exchange.  I stopped by Target on the way home and picked up some items.  I found a bin to put the dog toys in.  They are no longer housed in a laundry basket.  It looks 10x better.  Alli had to work Wednesday night, so I dropped her off.  I had to pay the taxes on my car and did that online. Boo!

Thursday was the day new furniture arrived!  The Fed Ex guy was kind enough to put it in the house for me.  It was 115 pounds.  Unsure why they shipped it all in one box.  Peyton and I did our work together at the table.  (yes, he was right on top of the pizza box)  I had started cleaning out a drawer and found some school pic order forms that I never ordered.  While the lady who ran the company retired, she still has all the pics.  I called her up and she had me email the info to her..  She put the pics I needed on a flash drive and I picked them up today!  I've already ordered the prints from CVS and will be able to get them tomorrow. I have the release forms if needed.
I am missing Alli's fourth grade pic though.  I have the order form and the receipt that I paid for them though.  They must be around.  (Or maybe my mom has one and I can copy it)
I do not have all of Tanner's High School pics though.  He lived with his dad during that time.  I had sent him the checks and order forms to get them, but somehow never received pics.  One of my May goals is to find out how to get them.
Friday was an easy work day.  Peyton and I put together the new furniture.  It only took us about an hour total.  I bought a Majesty Palm also.  I've always wanted one and finally found my dream tree. :)

Peyton played outside a lot.  He's been building a fort in our woods.  He is making pretty decent progress.  I can see the tunnel from the back.
I read a lot of my books on Friday.  I am currently reading "The Starless Sea" and "After The Flood".  I took Alli to work and picked her up.  I started working on my photo collage for the wall.  I like it so far.  Nothing fancy.  I ran out of frames, so I'll have to wait a few to finish it.

On Saturday, I didn't do a lot.  I watched the whole season of "Upload".  I really enjoyed it.  I watched the Parks and Rec Special.  I took Alli to work.  Peyton played outside a lot until his dad came to pick him up.  Her dad picked her up from work.  I had to chase the dogs a few times.  They kept running to my neighbors house because he was smoking meat and would give them pieces. lol  The doggos like the neighbor.

On Sunday, I did laundry.  We only had three loads for the week.  Which is nice.  I went to the grocery store after I made my meal plan.  Peyton came home and played outside even more. I dropped Alli off at work.  I took Buster for a long mile walk.  I started watching McMillions.  Bananas!  Picked Alli up from work.  Had a weird night of sleep.  Something just felt off.  Not sure what though.

That brings us to today!  Which started out with two rounds of thunder and hail storms!  I had some short videos on my Instagram page.
Work was pretty easy again.  I took Alli to work right when I got off work.  I picked up the flash drive with school pics.  I've talked to some family about some cray fam biz.  I am going to write a lifetime movie script about it some day.  For real.  It's crazy.   I've ordered the pics from CVS.  They have a 50% off code right now.  It lasts until the 9th.  I might create some albums to print off.
I made tacos for dinner and a sugar cookie brownie type thing for dessert.

Peyton enjoys saying Take My Pic now.  Haha.  I did vaccuum the rug after this.  I had just put the carpet powder down.
Here are my May goals:
1. No Eating Out Week! May 4th-10th

2. No Spend Week!  May 11th-16th (This doesn't include bills on autopay or groceries if needed)
3.  Hunt down Tanners High School pics!
4. Oil Change for Car
5. Work on Outdoor projects
6. Start using the wellness journal

What are some of your May goals?
