admiring
The Fall weather. It's my favorite.
going
I'm taking a long weekend, so I was thinking about heading to a Kansas State Park for one of those days and maybe to a zoo (Kansas City or Topeka)
making
I made Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins yesterday. Quesadillas too and I plan on making Buffalo Chicken Baked Potatoes for dinner tonight.
scheduling
People for the Blood Drive I am hosting. I am four people away from our 30 person goal. We have six more days and it is now open to the public. I hope it will fill up. Free COVID 19 Antibody testing for anyone with a successful donation. That seems to draw people in.
and wishing!
For the Election to be over. And a few other things, but that's the main one.
You always make such yummy food! I'm always so impressed that you know what you're making IN ADVANCE! And I'm really glad you pointed out the blood drive thing--I cannot imagine how critical the need is now. I will get on to my local donation website. Because, for some reason, I don't think I've seen any PR for it lately... Good luck with yours! They're lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteI write out what I have to make on a white board and just cross through when we make it. That's the only way I really keep track and I look at it and figure out what sounds good for the day.
DeleteThe Red Cross told me they are very short this month because a large percentage of their donors during this time are from the high schools and colleges. High Schools and Colleges aren't running blood drives right now. (And it's a safe, sterile event, so the risk for COVID is low) It will be my first time actually donating.
Chocolate chip pumpkin muffins sound absolutely delicious!
ReplyDeleteSharing your wish!! And wishing I had pumpking chocolate chip muffins!!:)
ReplyDeleteHow honorable of you to host a blood drive. We donated about a month-and-a-half ago. Our antibodies were checked but we didn't have any! Dadgummit. We are still suffering with 90 degree plus weather here so ready for fall Temps.
ReplyDeleteOh those baked potatoes sound amazing and the muffins do too!
ReplyDeleteI like your white board tip! When the kids were at home, I had them put things they wanted on a monthly calendar. I don't mind cooking, but I'm not so good at planning.
ReplyDeleteGood job on the blood drive!
I am seriously counting down for this election to end!!!
ReplyDeleteThis season is the best!! I have been dreaming about chocolate chip muffins. Maybe this weekend I will finally make them!
ReplyDeleteSame wish as you. We like the Topeka zoo!
ReplyDeleteI have the same wish. Good luck with your blood drive!

I'm not usually one for pumpkin, but those muffins sound quite excellent. And what an interesting idea to offer antibody testing for people who sign up for a blood drive - clever! I hope you meet your goal, and enjoy your long weekend :)
