“Oh my, what happened to your arm?”
“I fell”
“You didn’t fall here, did you?”
“No, I hit someone.”
“Are you okay?”
“Yes. I busted my
knee too. It’s pretty gross looking.”
“Do you need anything?”
“Nope, I’m good.”
This is my story since I managed to bust my right knee and
scrap up my left arm.
I hit her hard.
I took her out.
I took myself out.
I ended up in the penalty box.
She didn’t score any points.
Penalty worth it.
Ouch! "Penalty worth it" - HA!
ReplyDeleteYou seem very nice here on your blog, but I think I'd steer clear of you on the track!
I am nice as long as you aren't on the opposing team during the game. :) Right after the game though, I'm nice again. The girl I took down, we gave her MVP. She really is the sweetest gal ever and it's funny because her husband is on my team.
DeleteOuch! But, what a neat post of another side of you! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I really do enjoy the derbs!
DeleteAh, roller derby scars.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it won't leave a scar! lol. My mom gave me some big band aids when she saw it and told me to keep it covered and moisturized. My skin was no match for the polished concrete floor.
DeleteGlad the penalty was worth it. That looks painful!
ReplyDeleteOuch!! I swear falling as an adult is like 40 times worse than falling as a child. And yet another reason why Roller Derby scares the crap out of me. ;)
