November 1st

Happy November 1st!  Only two more months left of the year.  I couldn't be happier.  This year has just been hard.  It's been on a little of an upswing but I'm just ready for it to be over.

Halloween was very uneventful.  Peyton went with his father trick or treating.  Alli went with her friend trick or treating.  I stayed at home and did not have any trick or treaters.  One advantage to having a house that no one can find.

I got creative.  I did a little thing with the pumpkin.  Boo!  It didn't turn out too shabby.

I studied a bit.  I took a practice Chemistry exam.  I passed it at 10% over, so maybe, just maybe, I can get this class out of my life.  It's not hard, there are just a million ways the ask the same question and it stressed me out.  Yes, I know I need to be able to do them in multiple ways, but just give me how it's going to be on the test.

My little bit of Halloween decorations.  There are actually orange lights on the mantle but you can't see them in the picture.  They are quite lovely and I adore them.

Peyton came home and posed with the Boo pumpkin.
He was a skater dude that isn't so awesome at skate boarding.  He got
super creative with his costume.
Peyton and I watched a little "Hocus Pocus" and then
he made me start "Killer Klowns From Outer Space"
That movie truly terrified me when I watched it the first time.
All  I can think is cotton candy, straws and blood.
I fell asleep before it was over, but he did ask to watch it again this morning.
Sigh.

That's how our night went.  How did yours go?
Show me pictures, tell me stories.

  1. We had ZERO trick or treaters either and we live in the city. We checked out some amazing Halloween decorations around town and then it was home for me and watching 'Grey's.' I love that movie 'Hocus Pocus.' 'Killer Klowns' not so much. Happy November!
