It's the first Wednesday of the month!  That means my favorite link up is happening!  If you want to join in, head on over to in residence and put your link in!

making:
My picture wall!
Lots of food (Peyton actually asked me why I am always cooking for them...)
Making sure the kids do their school work.

missing:
Eating at Amigos!
Shopping at Marshalls.  I miss wandering the aisle looking at all the things.  My candle stash is getting low!
Roller Derby!

learning:
Relearning geometry haha!
To work at home! (Love it!)
 loving:
That my son actually says: Take a pic of me!  Guys, this hasn't happened forever!
Getting my front room set up how I like it.
Finally getting a small palm!
The Wellness Planner and Grateful journal
The Therabox Sub
Cute pics of Animals!

reading:
These two books!

  1. I love when my son says to take his picture too. I miss TJ Maxx / Home Goods so I know what you mean about Marshalls!

  2. Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Home Goods- I miss browsing through all the pretty things I definitely don't need too! I hadn't heard of the Therabox- looks awesome! I'll have to investigate further!

  3. Anxious to know what you thought of Starless Sea when you finish. It was one of the books on my online book club's list to vote on for May. We picked In Five Years instead. Which everyone has loved. And they've read it so fast that we may have to pick a second book for May.
Online shopping just doesn't give us the same feels as wandering up and down the aisles seeing, touching, smelling all the things.

  4. Yay for reading books! I hope they are both good. I like that you have a mini list of answers for each prompt.

  5. So delightful to hear you love the linkup - I do too :) And oh man, I was just saying that I'm glad I only have to deal with first grade level math for homeschooling. Geometry would be a struggle, ha. Keep hanging in there!

  6. Not too shabby, all things considered!
It's so hard to get pics of any of my sons. Usually I get a hand or the back of their heads. Congrats!
Happy reading while you wait to get back to roller derbying!

  7. That quote by Dave Hollis is my mantra for May! Each month I choose a quote or statement and that one just stood out for me.
That wellness planner looks great - enjoy!

  8. If my 14-year-old said, "Take a picture of me," I would be so excited. I've been having to relearn geometry too, and power point, and teaching a 9 year old how to write an essay, and I think you are doing a better job than me of staying positive about all this. Good job!

  9. Can't wait to see your picture wall. I feel like I cook all the time as well. I also love working from home now.
