It's April 8th! That means it is Rex Manning Day! Who is Rex Manning? Well, he's that oh so famous singer, from the movie Empire Records, that gets knocked back down to size. Why do we celebrate Rex Manning Day? Because Empire Records is still one of my favorite all time movies.
This bunch of crazy teens/young adults work at a record store. Who works at a record store nowadays? Almost no one. The movie follows their adventures on one day. There is a lot of drama and a lot of growing up done on this day.
