I had three possible topics for C. Carnival, Closed Doors and Chemistry. What if we discuss the chemistry that happens behind closed doors of the carnival? I’m open for that discussion because I have no idea what occurs behind those closed doors, even though I could make some educated guesses.
What people do behind closed doors is certainly not our problem, right? If the door is closed, it’s closed for a reason?
In my house, I have seven doors, including the front and back doors and not including closet doors. Six of those doors are normally shut if they are occupied. The front and back door being obvious closures. The cats would run out and pretend to be homeless cats if they were open. They would soon learn that homeless cats have a lot harder time getting their Meow Mix then they do and would return home. The bathroom door is shut for obvious reasons. The other three doors are those of teenage occupants. The door leading to my bedroom is the only one that remains open a majority of the time. You actually cannot see my bedroom from that door; you have to go downstairs and a hallway before entering my bedroom.
What goes on behind my children’s closed doors? Nothing too exciting. The youngest is sitting on his gaming chair with his headphones on and controller in his hand playing video games. He, usually, has empty containers and drink bottles lying about to the annoyance of his mother. The oldest is also gaming. He’s on the end of his bed. Normally wrapped in a blanket. The girl child is talking, texting and facetiming people. She works on her homework and spends time with his Chin Chin and Guin Guins. Can you tell the closed door does not create a boundary for me? I do knock giving a little warning.
Of course, we can go with “when one door closing, another one opens” How many times have you heard that in your life? Do you believe it to be true? Do you have to create that open doorway or does it magically appear? Like things in carnivals? But are there a lot of doors at carnivals? I’m thinking only in the fun house. So people can jump out at you or you get lost trying to find the right door to go through. I know in haunted houses I’ve encountered a few closed doors that just don’t want to open.
What conversations do you believe happen behind closed doors? Conversations that happen behind closed doors are usually about someone else or a private matter. Closed doors block out the ambient noise. Closed doors help you get away when you need to. Closed doors let you be alone. Closed doors hide secrets. Closed doors can help prevent hurt and heartache. Closed doors can cut off love and laughter.
Do you spend a lot of time behind a closed door?
