Monday's here!

Happy Monday everyone!  How was the weekend?  Did exciting things happen?

I did a lot of reading.  I did a lot of laundry.  I semi prepped for the week.  (I'm not good at this one) I got some cute things in the mail.

Not the book, but the pillow that matches the cats! haha.

Alli, Peyton and I met my Mom and Grandpa at a Mexican restaurant for lunch on Saturday, afterwards we went to a store to try to find Peyton jeans.  The line was about 50 people long to check out, so we didn't buy anything there.  We dropped off our trunk full of donations at Savers and went to Home Depot before heading home.  Peyton finally decided on his birthday gift, he wanted a drill.  Glad he finally decided on something!

Peyton worked on his outdoor skate ramps and things on the side of our driveway.  He's doing a good job out there.

He went skate parking and Alli went to work.  I ordered some Chinese food to share with everyone for dinner.  It was pretty delicious.  I made a mug cake for dessert.  I hadn't had one in quite a while and I was impressed about how easy it was.

I watched Poltergeist.  I hadn't seen it since I was little.  It's still pretty scary, but not the same effect as when I was younger.

Sunday was nice.  That was laundry day.  I, also, took a walk at Cliff Drive.  It's 2.5 mile round trip and has stairs to climb at one end.  My legs are feeling that today!

Peyton worked on his stuff outside and skate parked for a while.  Alli had work.  Peyton wanted to run to QT to pick up an iced coffee.  I took him there.

And here is another, take a pic of us...

That's about it for us!

  1. I think it's a good sign that Peyton wanted a drill. Being handy's a good thing! I guess it's good for retailers that so many people are out shopping again.
    I'm sensing a cat theme... :)
