2016 Resolutions...

I am not going to make any resolutions other than to figure out how to make frosting for cupcakes and cakes.  Why is that so darn difficult?  I'm sure I should make resolutions other than that.  I mean, who can't stand to lose a few pounds or to stop drinking pop (fine, SODA)?  Or to give up sugar? Or have no fun at all?  If I make a resolution and just fail, I'll be so disappointed in myself.

I am just going to do things.
Things that need to be done.
Things I want to do.
Just things.
And it's going to be awesome.
That's all.

Here are some things I am going to do:
I am going to play the derbies and I am going to have fun doing it.
I am going to make awesome food for people.
I am going to go back to school.
I am going to slow down and take others feelings into consideration.
I am going to love my family so much and show them how much they make me happy and I will work on making them happier.  I know I can be better to my Mike, my Tanner, my Alli and my Peyton.
All the bedroom are going to moved around in the house.  Except for one.  She might be mad.
Go places
Do fun things
Try new things. Not sure what these new things will be yet, but I'm sure they will be fun.
And other things.  I'll share those later. :)

  1. Stopping by from Mama Kat's. People always say we should set specific goals but I tend t make them more general too. I don't always know the what and the how and love the discovering process.

    1. Thank you for stopping by. The frosting. I just can't. But, hey, I have almost a whole year to figure it out. :)

  3. Good frosting is hard to make, you're right. I think it's all about the proportions. I'm like you with the not having resolutions thing. I think I have them...but I'm not saying them or writing them. I'm just going to do them. I hope. It's like Yoda says, "Do or do not, there is no try." Or something like that.

  7. This is an ambitious list. Moving all the bedrooms is the one that made me say--whoa! That is a lot!

  11. Fabulous list, I might pretend it's mine. Minus moving the bedroom. And the frosting. And school. And new things, I don't like new things. Or cooking. But other than those!!
